Training of children's otolaringologists in Ukraine

Abstract

Training of pediatric otolaryngologists in Ukraine is carried out in an internship in the specialty "pediatric otolaryngology" and in the cycle of specialization in pediatric otolaryngology. The internship is conducted in the form of full-time and part-time study at the departments of higher medical educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation and postgraduate education and internship institutions in basic health care institutions for 1.5 years (17 months - 2652 teaching hours). training at the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology and Phoniatrics and related departments (1248 hours) and 9 months of work on the basis of internship (1404 hours). The cycle of specialization in "pediatric otolaryngology" at the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology and Phoniatrics NMAPE named after PL Shupyk for otorhinolaryngologists lasts 2 months, and for pediatricians - 5 months.
