КОМОРБІДНІСТЬ ПРИ РОЗСІЯНОМУ СКЛЕРОЗІ, ЇЇ ВПЛИВ НА ПЕРЕБІГ ЗАХВОРЮВАННЯ, ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ЛІКУВАННЯ ХВОРИХ

Abstract

The article deals with the origin of various types of comorbidity in patients with multiple sclerosis - both transnosological and transsyndromal. The mechanisms of the development of comorbid pathology in this disease are discussed. Based on the analysis of data from modern literary sources and own research, the authors conclude that some types of comorbidity lead to mutual burdening of diseases in patients with multiple sclerosis, contribute to deepening the neurological deficit and the formation of an unfavorable prognosis, while others do not significantly affect the course of multiple sclerosis. It is shown that the formation of polycomorbidity speeds up the development of symptoms of neurologic deficits, disability andworsens the quality of life of patients with multiple sclerosis. It is noted that underestimation of the negative impact of comorbidity on the course of the pathological process with multiple sclerosis leads to a decrease in the effectiveness of pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy of patients. It is concluded that an adequate correction of the comorbid pathology in multiple sclerosis should be carried out both by the prescription of drug therapy and by non-drug treatment
